She’s not yet a year old and still hopping around like crazy when guests arrive. Even children, which makes me feel its dangerous. I know its getting better but I’d like to know what you do to calm young dogs down?

Oh yeah I totally get you man. Had the same with my golden. Took a year to calm him down.

Wait it out, watch out for the kids till its over you’ll see. Do the cracker thing where you teach her to sit and lay down or roll over and have her do that when kids come around.
