Choisya ternata ‘Sundance’ (mexican orange tree)

    I am thinking about purchasing a Choisya ternata sundance, but my question is how long does it take for it to grow to 6′?  It appears that the tallest we can purchase is only about 2′ tall.  We were hoping to purchase a taller plant but haven’t found any, and don’t want to have to wait more than a year or two at most for it to get to 6′.  Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Hi my aunt had one in her garden, it was a hair over 6 feet but has been growing there for over a decade. I think in the best of conditions it would only take a foot or 14 inches a year. From 2 feet, this means earliest in 3-4 years. But it is a really beautiful shrub, nice and yellow and all. Here’s a picture I took last year:
