Is there any hope for my Christmas cactus that may be the victim of overwatering for a bit but seems to have survived. It’s just a little floppy but hasn’t died yet. What should I do?

Hello @imahartmess, the first thing to do is to make sure no water stay stagnant at the bottom of the pot, in the saucer or pot container. If it’s the case, put the plant on the sink and let it drip to remove extra water. To avoid overwatering, stick your finger first in the soil to check if it’s dry before watering. Then water the plant on the sink so you’re sure extra water won’t stay in the pot container. This would help save the plant.

Wilted or limp Christmas cactus is sometimes caused by a lack of water or too much direct sunlight. If you’ve neglected to water the limp Christmas cactus, begin by giving the plant a limited drink. Continue to water sparingly every few days until the soil is lightly moist.
