Been using the fireplace these days and was wondering whether or not it’s good to put the ashes in the compost. Any comments on this?
December 31, 2019 at 8:22 am ReplyI think it’s okay. After all, it takes time for the compost to be ready for the garden. Acidity level should be decreased by then! Happy New Year!
May 28, 2020 at 4:03 pm ReplyMy neighbors cats were ruining a patch of lawn I was trying to reseed so I counterattacked with a bucket of ashes. I’m not so sure about the lawn but at least I won against the cats.
