Hello people! Is basil at risk of being eaten by slugs and/or snails if planted outside? I’ve got basil from a garden store and thinking of planting it in the garden. If it’s going to be a meal for them, I’d rather keep it near my kitchen sink. Looking forward to your advice.

Definitely at risk! Either you keep it indoor and it’s very safe or put it beside a plant that slugs and snails hate like lavender or rosemary if you really want them outdoor.

I like it just on my kitchen counter and makes it accessible when I need it for my dish.  🙂

You can plant it outdoor but should make sure it’s protected during the night. Covering it works.
