Can anyone identify this plant please? I’m UK based.

    That looks a lot like calla lily, I had one growing in the garden when I was back in France. It would die off when it froze but then sprout again from the roots in spring. But I remember the leaves being bigger than these, especially as the season got warmer they would really get huge!

    I think it’s a calla, but not the one @Fatzo has in mind. There’s a species called wild calla/wild arum, Calla palustris and it looks exactly like that. It loves growing in places where the soil is soggy. It’ll bear cute flowers, like those of the peace lily but smaller. I’ll cover the ground but won’t grow very tall. If it popped up there naturally, it means the environment is already perfect for it and you won’t need to do anything to make it better.

    Ha! That must be why. The shape of the leaves is really similar, but I just really had larger ones. Wild as in, it grows in the wild? That must be a fun find @bunmum !
