Can I cut off seed capsules from oleander?

I do it every year, but is it necesary?
August 6, 2022 at 12:29 pm ReplyNecessary? not at all. It will just grow seed pods that will spread the plant and grow new shoots. If you want to prevent that then keep on cutting them off.
For the blooming, traditionally deadheading is known to trigger more blooming. From my own oleander, though, only a few would ever grow into seed pods, and the shrubs just kept on blooming repeatedly till it got cold.
