When we transplanted ours, it didn’t bloom that year but the second year we had flowers. We also added different types of compost in the second year which really made the soil look richer. I guess in this case the soil quality was the key.

Hey there! Bummer about your Crocosmia playing hard to get with the blooms. A few reasons might be cramping its style: it could be too cozy in its spot and needs a bit more room to spread out, or maybe it’s not getting enough sun to throw down a flower party. These guys love the spotlight, so make sure they’re soaking up plenty of rays. Also, check if you’re feeding it enough or maybe too much; it wants just the right amount of food to strut its stuff. Consider giving it a bit of a refresh by dividing it if it’s been in the same spot for ages, and make sure it’s not drowning or parched. Fingers crossed, with a little TLC, your Crocosmia will be back to its blooming best!
