My Marvel of Peru is thriving, but it is so far back at the edge of my property I hardly see it’s beautiful blooming season.  Can I carefully transplant it closer to my home or must harvest seeds and plant them only to ensure the mother plant does not shock or die?

I simply love marvel of peru, congratulations for growing it well.

Of course go ahead and transplant but perhaps not right now. If it’s still hot and summer (are you in the UK?) then the plant will dry out. Better wait for winter, well not yet winter but fall. Before freezing if you get the gist of it: after the heat, before the cold.

And if you’re worried also get some seeds and maybe a few cuttings just in case! But I don’t see why it would die if you’re very careful about it.
