how to propagate dracaena?

    I jst inherited a well-grown dracaena plant and Id like to propagate it so I’m turning to you all for help. Could you tell me how to do it? And pls step by step becoz I’m a complete beginner @ gardening. Thanks for your understanding.

    Dracaena is very easy to propagate by cuttings. Cut a stem that’s at least 2 inches with at least 1-2 nodes and put them in soil or a vase with water. If you’ll do the latter, pot the stems when roots start appearing. They usually emerge after 2 weeks.


    In gardening, there’s always something you can’t control.  This makes the experience so humbling. 🙂

    You can even just cut 1-foot stem and put it in a bottle with water. By the time roots are starting to grow, you can transfer it in a pot or if you’re in a tropical country like me, just plant it directly in the soil outside and hops, you’re done propagating dracaena plant.
