How far down should I cut my Lily of the Niles? It’s very hot here ..over 100, and it’s done blooming.

But it’s very important to leave all the leaves until the plant yellows off on its own in fall. This is because now that the blooming is done, all the remaining leaves are plowing all their efforts into making the bulb stronger. You can water it reasonably, bulbs don’t like soggy soil for very long so make sure it dries up a bit before watering again. In the end, next year’s blooming depends on all the work leaves do after this year’s blooming! 😀
