I recently got a green ball dianthus plant from my daughter because it was not doing well on her deck. Put it in a bigger pot and it’s doing a little better. But now one of the green poofball flowers is starting to get red petals on it as well. I’ve grown these before but never seen anything like this? Anyone ever seen this before? Thoughts?
September 8, 2022 at 6:03 am ReplyHello, I think this may be normal. After all, the green flower poof is a bit abnormal in nature: the flowers don’t really form all the way through. So sometimes nature is able to correct course and somehow fix things: flowers re-appear!
