Hello all, I’ve just been gifted this plant for Thanksgiving. I first thought it was a rubber tree plant, but I’m not so sure because the tips of leaves aren’t pointy like another I’ve got. Anybody have any idea?
November 28, 2022 at 10:33 am ReplyHello Bob,
It certainly does look similar to a ficus elastica, but I’m not an expert.
- If it’s a ficus elastic, leaves are alternate.
- If leaves are opposite, it’s a clusia
From what I see on the pictures, it seems like leaves are paired and opposite, so it’s probably a clusia.
Perhaps someone else could pitch in because I don’t have any myself…
Have a nice day
