hi there

hope someone can help i have a small question but it has me stumped so far

For a few days now i noticed some strange white stuff on my peace lily heres a pic

Oh yes! I had that on one of my plants – I think it’s simply pollen from your flower, it actually happened on my hibiscus and when a friend was pesting against that dust on her spathyphillum as well we figured it out…

hi happyjoy I think your right! when I shake the flower more comes off so it must be that I just checked

good so not a disease or something then whew

I agree with happyjoy… actually, this whitish dusty thing falls off when the peace lily flower is already a bit old just before getting withered. As I love the fragrance of peace lily flower, I used to smell the one we had and noticed that when this was happening it meant that it already lost its scent.
