Zinnia not blooming with full flower

So I’m in the Philippines and the soil i have is a thin layer of clay on limestone. I planted a few seeds and they’ve sprouted and bloomed, but the flowers are so disappointing. They aren’t even full!

Hi Fatzo, would you mind sharing a few pictures? From what you’re saying they don’t have much soil to begin with. Maybe they’re have water or nutrient problems.
