Does containing blackberry vines affect its capacity to bear fruits?

April 5, 2020 at 11:20 pm ReplySorry if it wasnt clear. What I meant was pruning the vines. They went a bit far off the wall so had to to prune more than half of its vines.
Given that in the wild they spread everywhere, you think this will make them bear less fruits?
