I’m trying to grow a cutting from a very healthy miniture purple Acer that I’ve grown in a pot for 3years. So far, it seems happy in water…it’s been over a week and the stem is still green with what looks like might be the beginnings of roots! Should I keep it in water or use a hormone compound and pot it?
