I recently planted a nectarine tree that has about 25 – 30 fruit on it. They have begun to wrinkle or shrivel up. Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong or what is the problem.

The tree is adjusting to its new environment and can’t support all the fruits so has to let go some. The same thing happened to our apple trees. They were flowering when we bought it and after transplanting it to our garden, all the flowers withered and didn’t have any fruits that year. We weren’t happy; we bought those specific trees especially because they already had flowers thinking we could have fruits right away.

hello @rustyspot, if you’ve planted your tree months ago it might be a disease though. Is there any weird growth on the fruit or sap or gum? Or is it simply shriveling up? Maybe you could share a picture?
