Who knows what plant this is? Is it part of the family of succulents? Is this purely ornamental or used for something? It’s prickly especially at the tip of the leaves, like thick black needles! Definitely not aloe vera although I’ve seen one variety which was quite similar but with a long stem.

May 4, 2020 at 9:36 pm ReplyWe locally call it magay and is used for making ropes. It’s also common in the wild and bears nice whitish-yellowish flowers with a single major long stalk and used as Christmas tree.
