Hi to all forum users here! Any of you who knows what tree or shrub to plant near some sort of marsh? In our farm, there is a low basin-shaped part and gathers rainwater. So most of the time, it has water in it and looks like a mini-lake. We would like to plant trees or shrubs near it to make the area pretty.

    Hi Alliz

Do you  want to drain the pond or simply plant nice-looking trees around it?

Hi jeffrycope. Thanks for taking the time to respond. Excuse me for getting back so late. Actually, it’s mainly for aesthetic purposes. Do you have a list of trees which thrive in a wet piece of land like ours?

Swamp cypress and weeping willow are great options. They are also beautiful trees.

Hi Fast Driver and Greener pasture! Thanks for your recommendations. We actually started looking into this with the help of a professional gardener and the trees you mentioned were part of the list. Probably we’ll get weeping willows.
