I looking for a bird-friendly garden. For this purpose, I have chosen some of the seeds to plant in my garden.

These are the most liked seeds by the birds. Please let me know your experiences with these seeds.

Are these seeds ok to plant in my garden to attract birds? let me know your thoughts.

This time of the year, I focus more on providing water as Texas is quite hot through September and clean/check roosting boxes… I like to stock up on food for the colder months but I may now and then I may add some suet… “so they do not forget to come by and re-visit my garden”. Ha! I prefer to use seeds without shells; at least two types of seeds to attract different birds (read the product label information for that). Clean feeders if dirty or if bees are using them as a nest. I also use plants that produce berries, specially hollies that the local robins come and visit en masse!

In my opinion you should hire a lawn care expert if you want to build a garden for birds.
